FRISKEE FROG (1) disappointed last time when fifth over 7f at Grafton after a close second at Grafton the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so rates among the leading chances. FERRIMO (5) ran below expectations last time at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 10 lengths starting at 15/8. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. PONGOLA (8) is yet to break through after 14 starts but not far off a win. Placed in a then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 5f at Kempsey. Well placed here and among the winning hopes. EXCLUSIVE BATTLE (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7¼f at Kempsey, beaten 6 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
