CUTEPI (18) stepped out on her debut over 5f at Muswellbrook two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished eighth, beaten 2.5 lengths. Likely improver and can get off the mark this time. MISS CARTEL (11) is back after a break of eight months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at her latest appearance over 6½f at this track. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Newcastle trial. Rates highly and is a strong chance to break through. GIVE IT A NUDGE (8) is yet to break through after 10 starts. Placed in a then last time out was fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over 6f67yards at this track. Has the addition of blinkers. Has ability and expected to feature. SAN MIRAGE (12) is a three-year-old filly on debut by Santos from Green Mirage who has thrown plenty of winners to date. Was out of the placings at Newcastle at her only trial. Promising type who can play a big role.
