CRAZY RUSSIAN (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Jake Hull barn. Hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Canberra five-and-a-half months ago. Ran fifth in a trial over 5f at Gosford and is in a nice race. Can return in winning form. PEE DEE (7) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 6½f at Beaumont (Newcastle), getting home by half a length. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. THE CHOSEN ONE (3) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then settled well back last start when 3.5 lengths away in fifth over 6f at Coffs Harbour. Worth noting Grant Buckley goes aboard. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. SIPPITY SIP (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
