EVERY EFFORT (4) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle. Well-placed and will take catching. FARRAIGE (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at this track, beaten 1.3 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. CRUSHEEN LASS (8) did a good job last start to finish second at this track over 1m2f, beaten 1.1 lengths. Should be at her peak now. Ready to win. SEETHING CHUCK (3) was comfortably accounted for when eighth last time out over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle, beaten 8 lengths, after a win at Tuncurry at the previous outing. Well placed and can make amends.
