SHOTGUN BELLA (7) wasted no time getting off the mark on debut over 6f at this track six months ago and has not raced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Scone trial placing. Looks promising and can measure up again. ALMOST MAYBE (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4½f at Newcastle, beaten 3.5 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he can bounce back. RAW GOLD (8) broke through for his maiden win over 5f at Scone last time. Drawn out a bit but he is one of the main chances. BALLY ISLE (5) didn't do a bad job to finish a long neck away in third last start over 5f at Muswellbrook after a win the run before. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
