SHE STOPPED SHORT (2) could only manage sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only 0.3 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. SLEW CROWN (13) resumes from a lay-off of four months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 5½f at Thistledown (Dirt). Bold showing expected. GLAMOURCENTS (4) returns after five-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fifth over 5f at Colonial Downs (Turf). Has ability and is a leading player. DERBY EFFORT (11) ran a better race last start, finishing 3 lengths away in fourth over 6f at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
