CUBAN THUNDER (4) comes here off a break of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at Newmarket (Rowley). Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. FRIZZANTE (1) is having his first run on a turf track. Recent form has been strong, culminating in a win by 0.3 lengths on dirt over 1m1/4f at this track at his third run back. Winning rider Charlie Marquez stays aboard. Sure to run well. GENERAL BATTLE AXE (3) settled in a rearwards position and never came on when resuming last start, finishing sixth and beaten 14 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt). Nicely placed to take this out. GAV N BRODY (7) is a last-start winner three-and-a-half weeks ago, scoring by 13 lengths over 1m1/4f at this track. A bold showing is expected.
