WAR BEAT (1) recorded a strong maiden win over 1m1/4f at Gulfstream Park (Synthetic) last time, getting there by 1.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Aided by the rails draw and he looks certain to measure up again. KING RAMOS (11) turned in an eye-catching run over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. THE PENINSULA (3) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fourth beaten 2.5 lengths at this track (Turf) over 1m. Nice draw here and looks well placed to break through. THE SKIPSTER (6) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 1m at this track (Turf), finishing third and beaten 1.75 lengths. Sure to be thereabouts.
