SEAX (5) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt). Will be tough to hold out again. HIGHJUMP CHARLIE (2) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 26 lengths when seventh over 1m1/4f at this track a month ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SMART JOKER (4) has been in the betting recently but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished fourth over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt), beaten 13 lengths. Worth including. MIAH SAID (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on December 15 finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths over 6½f at Woodbine. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
