TERMAGANT (14) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten half a length, over 5f at Eagle Farm when returning from a lay-off. Has a strong record here at this journey with three wins from four runs. Sure to run well. SALTAIRE (3) ran below expectations last time at Eagle Farm, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths starting at 7/2. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. WILD BOTANICA (13) was returning from a 186-day layoff last start when she at Eagle Farm. Before that when resuming run she went to the Stuart Kendrick stable. Worth forgiving the one failure. STANISLAUS (10) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Jack Bruce yard. Hasn't raced since finishing sixth at Canterbury nine months ago. Fitter for placing in a Doomben trial and looks nicely placed. Not to be underestimated.
