BANANA SLIDE (8) is back from a lay-off of ten months. Raced once last campaign and finished third over 6f at Doomben. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. JUST FLYING (2) is racing well, scoring in a at Ipswich before finishing 0.7 lengths from the winner in second last time over 6¾f at Ipswich. Leading contender. BERNICE'S SPIRIT (12) finished tenth over 6f in the G3 Gold Coast Guineas at this track at her most recent appearance on May 11. One to consider. BLACK OPIUM (13) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing tenth over 7½f at Eagle Farm most recently. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
