KERKORIAN (1) led to the turn over 1m1f at Eagle Farm last time out but faded to finish 11th. Will find this easier. Better placed this time and is a genuine threat. MAN OF HEART (2) was comfortably accounted for when tenth last time out over 1m3f at Doomben, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a win at Sunshine Coast Poly at the previous outing. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. IDEEL HERO (3) has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when third over 1m3f at Grafton. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but should be involved in the finish. WINTER THORN (6) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Ipswich, finishing second and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1m2 1f. Can fill a top-three spot.
