CRYPTOSTAR (5) hasn't raced since a win at Rockhampton over 5½f five weeks ago. Kept up to the mark with a placing in a recent trial at Doomben. Expected to go well if anywhere near his best. STEP ALONG (3) was an effortless maiden winner last time out over 5f at Sunshine Coast Poly, scoring by 3.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Jim Byrne who was on board last start. Capable of taking the next step. EAGLE'S FIRE (6) broke through for his maiden win over 4f65yards at Gatton last time. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and he is right in the mix again. MISHANI SUSPECT (9) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing eighth over 5f at Eagle Farm. Can sneak into the finish on best form.
