RUNNINGINTHERAIN (2) was a strong winner last time over 3f213yards at Sunland Park (Dirt), scoring by one length to make it two on end. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with four wins from five runs and should be in the finish. HIT BTWEEN THE ICE (3) raced on the speed and lifted to score by 1.5 lengths at this track and trip last time out to continue his outstanding recent form. No reason he cannot salute again. DURANGO JESS (1) is coming off a last-start fourth, beaten 10 lengths, over 4½f at this track. Has a good record at this journey with three wins from four starts. Key contender.
