ESPIONAGE (4) showed good early pace over 6f in Listed grade at this track (Dirt) last time and kept going to score by one length. Going up a level this time but he deserves plenty of thought. Group 3 winner JAXON TRAVELER (1) finished 16 lengths behind the winner in fifth place when resuming over 6f last start in stakes class at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Second up record is sound. Leading chance on best form. MINE THAT STAR (3) returns from a lay-off of 12 weeks and it is noteworthy that he has saluted at his past two when resuming appearances, last prep over 7f at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino. Makes plenty of appeal. LOCO LUNA (5) returns from a layoff of 11 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at Arapahoe Park. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from three tries. Can make his presence felt.
