HEROS TRIBUTE (8) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Fernando Carrete stable. Hasn't raced since finishing fifth at Sweetwater County Fair (Dirt) four-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Should prove tough to beat. DYNAMIC CANDY (12) is resuming from a lay-off of four months and having his first run for the Eric Valenzuela yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Remington Park (Dirt) over 1½f. Solid chance when resuming for the new barn. PRINCE TEMPTING (6) finished fourth over 1f130yards at Zia Park (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on December 10. Comes here with definite top-three claims. FIRST MOON DESTINY (4) closed last prep nine weeks ago when she finished fourth over 1½f at Zia Park. Ticks all the right boxes.
