CAPTAIN JOOLIAN (1) made progress last start to finish second over 6f at Mt Gambier after being prominent at the bend. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. FLAMBARD (3) got well back over 7f at Murray Bridge last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 7 lengths away in ninth. Has the talent to take care of this field. PULAMBI (12) was responsible for a better run last start, beaten 2 lengths into fifth over 6f at Balaklava. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
