BERKINSON (13) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Port Augusta, finishing second and only 0.6 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f213yards after being in contention on the turn. Steps up a level but he is good enough to take this out. FAMOUS KNIGHT (9) hasn't been far away lately, last time out finishing just 1.3 lengths back in fourth over 6f at Gawler. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will give a great sight. CANIDAE (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished a long neck away in fourth last time out over 6¾f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. UTILITARIAN (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Gawler, finishing fourth and only 2.25 lengths from the winner at the end of 5½f. Sure to be in the mix.
