REEL WHISKEY (10) led and just failed to hang on last start over 7f at Balaklava when well supported to make it two minor placings from three runs this campaign. Should settle just off the speed despite the draw. Will prove tough to beat. LUNESSA (13) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start over 6f at this track, beaten a long neck. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. ON THE SCENT (9) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 4.5 lengths back in fifth over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks four-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Ready to open his account. SEVEN SHOTS (15) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5¼f at Oakbank, beaten 3 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
