COMMANDER HARRY (1) booted up from the inside draw to race on the speed only to be claimed late and finish 1.5 lengths away in fourth last start over 1m2 1/2f at Horsham. Well placed and expected to feature. JAZ TYCOON (8) was safely held when sixth last time out over 1m2f at Seymour, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Wagga at the previous outing. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ALCHIAN (2) did little and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1m1f at Gunbower last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Ballarat Synthetic the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. PITTSBURGH PIRATE (9) finished third two runs back at Geelong then improved last time out to score by 2.25 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
