Former course and distance winner TROPEZ POWER (2) has been competitive in stronger races than this from the not-too-distant past. Remains 3.3lb above peak winning mark and holds decent claims nonetheless. Also winning over course and distance LEAP DAY (6) is admirably consistent. Only 4.4lb higher than when finding success here in January while finished second at Newcastle past two runs. Plenty of positives. ASSESSMENT (1) was a talented performer for Sir Michael Stoute. Could have more to offer for new yard returning from injury. BORGI (3) also warrants close attention.
