AMERICAN LIAISON (7) got well back over 7f at Geelong last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 7 lengths away in ninth. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. CAPITAL LOVER (3) showed good early speed from the inside draw when resuming last start before finishing second over 6f at Geelong. Has the talent to take care of this field. DEMOJO (2) recorded a strong maiden win over 5½f at Ballarat last time, getting there by 2.2.5 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and he is a solid top-three hope. GUSMAO (6) finished second last time over 5f at Echuca, beaten 2.5 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is sure to be prominent.
