HERE COMES HOGAN (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.75 lengths when seventh over 5½f at Hawkesbury two-and-a-half weeks ago. Faces an easier assignment so he can find the winners' list. THUNDERING SOUL (1) turned in a nice run last time when he did his best work late to finish third over 4½f at Newcastle. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. TOMOE GOZEN (7) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 6f at Tamworth, scoring by a neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Looks well placed and she is worth including. GREAT POINT (6) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on June 11 finishing ninth and beaten 3 lengths over 6½f at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
