Group 2 placegetter DRAKE'S PASSAGE (3) finished sixth, beaten 19 lengths, last time out over 1m1f at this track (Dirt). Has a strong record this course, scoring at two of three starts. Sure to be there at the business end. DONEGAL SURGES (1) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 1m1f at Listed level at this track (Dirt) after being in the firing line all the way. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Has the ability to produce another positive result. MAKER'S CANDY (5) was a fair way off the leaders on the turn and finished 6 lengths from the winner in third last start in Listed grade at this track (Dirt) over this distance. Has a very good record over this journey with four wins from eight starts. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Should be involved in the finish. SHERIFF BIANCO (2) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 29 when beaten 9 lengths into fifth at Aqueduct (Dirt) over 6½f. Worth noting Jose Ortiz goes aboard. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to turn things around.
