REACH FOR THE ROSE (4) finished second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 5f in stakes class at Gulfstream Park (Turf) on debut 12 weeks ago and has been kept under wraps since. Likely improver and expected to play a major role. DEW (2) was always well out of his ground when 8 lengths from the winner in fifth over 5½f at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Aqueduct the run before. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. CLOCK TOWER (6) is back from a lay-off of ten weeks. Debuted with a third, beaten 3 lengths, over 5f at Churchill Downs at his only appearance to date. One of the contenders. ASSERTIVENESS (8) is a two-year-old colt at the races for the first time. From a strong family that has produced at black type level, being by Into Mischief from the stakes winner Isabella Sings. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Should be thereabouts despite an awkward draw.
