HALO UNCLE (3) travelled in a rearwards position then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 1. 3 lengths away in fourth last time out over 4f124yards at Los Alamitos Qh three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Generally goes well here. Leading contender. MORELLO (9) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track (Dirt) over 6f. Faces an easier assignment so he can return to the winners' list. HOWBEIT (4) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Los Alamitos (Dirt), finishing seventh and beaten 6 lengths over 5½f. Finds a nice race and can atone.
