Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. MAGIC CONNECTION (1) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 6½f at Los Alamitos, beaten 6 lengths. That followed a win at Del Mar at the previous outing. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. CITY OF ANGELS (8) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a seventh over 1m at Del Mar (Dirt). Well placed and can fill a top-three spot.
