BRUCKNER (8) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish second last start over 6f at Turf Paradise (Dirt), beaten half a length. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. TAMARANDO STAR (2) is a progressive galloper who is when resuming since finishing sixth over 1m1/4f at Pleasanton (Dirt) nine months ago. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Can make a winning return. DAMAZIO (7) did a great job to score by 0.3 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a break last start. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. SALTWATER COWBOY (4) started at 5/4 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 15 lengths, at this track over 1m. Has a high cruising speed. Solid claims on best form.
