CROWN MAGIC (8) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a nose over 1m at this track (Dirt). That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins from four runs. Can measure up again. VERITAS AEQUITAS (10) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish second last start over 1m at this track (Dirt), beaten a nose. Likely improver with strong prospects. J B BOOKS (6) is back from a lay-off of nine weeks and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 1m at Fresno (Dirt). Has ability and should be right in the finish. UPSTART YANKEE (7) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but disappointed last time when out of the placings at this track (Dirt) over 1m after he had travelled in a rearwards position. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
