RODRIGUEZ (1) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish second over 6½f at Del Mar (Dirt). Likely improver who should go well. RANK (4) is yet to break through after six career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Del Mar (Dirt) two starts back before finishing fourth over 1m1/2f in the G2 Los Alamitos Futurity (Dirt) last start. Likely to play a major role. BAEZA (5) debuted five weeks ago when he finished ninth over 1m at Del Mar (Turf), beaten 8 lengths. Fitter and with the blinkers added is sure to be competitive. THE LAST STRAW (6) was safely held when third on debut last start over 6½f at Del Mar (Dirt). Tackles a longer journey this time. Likely improver who can feature in the finish.
