VANZZY (3) made progress last start to finish second over 1m at Los Alamitos after being prominent at the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. TOM AND JAZZY (2) finished out of the money two starts back then he got a long way back and was beaten 3 lengths when fourth over 1m at Los Alamitos two weeks ago. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. SOUL OF MIDNIGHT (4) was ridden quietly then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 7 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5½f at Del Mar six weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will give backers a great sight. BIG SPIN (1) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fifth over 1m1/4f at Pleasanton last start.
