JOHANNES (4) clocked-in second behind More Than Looks last time out in the G1 Breeders' Cup Mile at Del Mar (Turf) over 1m. Yet to be beaten here, scoring six wins from as many starts. Must be respected. MI HERMANO RAMON (7) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second in Listed grade at this track (Turf) two starts back then got the job done by half a length last time out over 1m1/2f in the G2 Seabiscuit Handicap at Del Mar (Turf). Hector Isaac Berrios scored on him last time and retains the mount. Looks well placed so expect another big run. Backmarker who gets home hard. One to consider. ASTRONOMER (1) opened this prep last start with a third, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1m1/2f at Del Mar. This sets up nicely.
