STAY HOT (4) good effort last start when second over this distance in the G2 Del Mar Derby (Turf), beaten half a length. Has a very strong record this course, scoring at three of four starts. One of the major players. ATITLAN (1) won his maiden three starts back and is nearing another victory with placings at his last two runs, most recently when third over 1m1f in the G2 Del Mar Derby (Turf). Winning rider Hector Isaac Berrios stays aboard. Should be hard to stop. CURLIN'S KAOS (2) returns after a lay-off of 12 weeks. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5f at Del Mar. One to consider. WYNSTOCK (3) was never in contention when resuming last start over 1m in Listed grade at Del Mar (Dirt), finishing sixth and beaten 14 lengths. Goes up a notch this time but must be respected.
