DR SOULFIRE (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when sixth over 6f at Golden Gate Fields two weeks ago. Umberto Rispoli gets the best out of this four-year-old entire. Likely improver with strong prospects. PINEHURST (9) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by half a length over 6f at this track (Turf). Shaping up nicely and he is one of the main chances. VORPAL (1) returned from a lay-off six weeks ago when he was beaten 5.5 lengths into seventh over 6½f at this track. Strips fitter and can bounce back. PETESOLDFASHIONED (2) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.8 lengths adrift in second over 6f at this track. Should be winding up late again.
