ROSE MADDOX (3) ran below expectations last time at Listed level at this track (Turf) over 6½f, finishing seventh and beaten 3 lengths. Form at this track is solid. Bold showing expected. SPICYBUG (1) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 16 lengths away in 12th over 1m in the G2 San Clemente Stakes at Del Mar (Turf) on July 22. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Likely to feature. RECINTO ROMPERE (5) turned in a fine effort to score by 1.3 lengths at this course and distance last start in a far better run. Finds an easier assignment and can continue the winning form. ALTERNATE ROCK (4) finished second last time over 6f at this track (Turf), beaten 1.3 lengths. This is a nice race and can find winning form.
