PINK ACE (4) is a talented filly who tackled a tougher race at her last run on September 2 and finished sixth behind Ceiling Crusher over 1m in the G3 Torrey Pines Stakes at Del Mar (Dirt). Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will prove tough to beat. DENDERA (2) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Turf), finishing fourth and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Has the talent to take this out. SHE'S A JOKER (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 1m at this track, beaten 99 lengths into eighth. This doesn't look as hard so she will be hard to beat. CONTROL FUNCTION (3) was below her best last time when sixth over 1m at this track (Turf), beaten 11 lengths. Nicely placed to bounce back.
