PALAGIO (3) drifted well back then came with a powerful run to finish 3.5 lengths from the winner in third when resuming last start over 6½f at this track (Turf). Hasn't broken through over this course and distance but has managed three minor placings. Leading contender. ONE TIME MARK (1) resumes from a lay-off of 15 months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 1m at Del Mar (Turf). Good effort to open last prep when in the money at Del Mar over 1m. Has ability and is a leading player.
