MAGARTEN (1) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m at Sandown-Hillside. Will be tough to hold out again. TESER (3) was fresh from a break of 10 months last start when beaten 0.8 lengths into second over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside after he was handy all the way. The extra journey should play into his hands. Can win this without surprising. ALL SO CLEAR (4) has accrued six minor placings from seven runs this campaign. 6 lengths from the winner in second last time out over 1m at cranbourne. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running another bold race. ASEVENTY SEVEN (7) hit the frame two starts ago at Pakenham Synthetic but ran below par last time when ninth and beaten 14 lengths over 1m at Cranbourne. Has his share of talent and can do a lot better.
