APACHE SONG (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fifth in a 1m contest at Flemington two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Has the class to produce a better result. NIGHT PEOPLE (3) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by 3.5 lengths over 7½f at Ballarat Synthetic. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins from four starts. Top chance again. FREAK OF NATURE (1) scored an impressive win by 4.5 lengths when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the leading chances. HIGH SECURITY (14) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Bendigo, beaten 6 lengths into seventh. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
