LINKVUE (1) has started twice, running a good second on debut then finishing tenth, beaten 4.5 lengths, last time over 6f in The Showdown at Caulfield. Goes back from a wide draw but will wind up late. Expected to prove tough to beat. HUSK (6) turned in a good effort on debut five months ago when 1.2 lengths away in third at Warwick Farm over 5f. Has not been to the races since that outing. Will be better for that race experience and is among the main hopes. BRIGHELLA (2) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 7f at Caulfield last time out. Better than the last run and is among the chances. CORA LYNN (5) is on debut. By Exceed And Excel and comes from the Ciaron Maher stable. Pay to watch for any positive betting moves.
