PIVOT CITY (2) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 2 lengths, over 7f at Flemington. Sure to prove tough to hold out. SCORCH (5) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish a head back in second over 6f at Caulfield Heath. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. FREE MARKET (1) was safely held when sixth last time out over 5f190yards at Albury, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a win at Moonee Valley at the previous outing. Zac Spain gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. SNAPPY TYCOON (8) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Kyneton. Looks to be in the right race so another bold effort is on the cards.
