KUPUNA (5) is having his first run since July 6. Goes well when fresh with a win and two placings from four starts. Comes to hand quickly so a bold showing is expected. TODDCHERO (8) is rarely out of the frame on dirt but finished 2.25 lengths away in fifth over 1m at Oaklawn Park in a. Again missed the placings but on turf most recently when fifth at this track over 5f. Freddy Jose Manrrique has registered four minor placings when on board. Sure to run well. SIR STERLING (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 6 lengths when eighth in a 5f contest at this track two weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. GENERAL SHIPMAN (6) ran below expectations last time in Listed grade at Delta Downs (Dirt) over 5f, finishing sixth and beaten 9 lengths. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Can feature in the finish.
