Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. Group 3 placegetter HOGANS HERO (10) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at Group 3 level at this track (Dirt) over 1f130yards. Should park just off the speed despite the draw. Leading contender. REDHOTCHILIPEPER (8) ran a better race last time at his second career start when second over 1½f at this track (Dirt). Further improvement likely so keep him safe. CELEBRATINGTHEEAGLE (6) is back from a lay-off of nine weeks. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, scoring in a 1f80yards contest at Louisiana Downs by 1.75 lengths. Sure to be competitive.
