JACKMAN'S RIDE (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at Zia Park, beaten only 0.8 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Won't find this as tough so he is ready to find the winners' list. BRUCELEA (3) is back at the races for the first time since July 2. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5f at this track. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. TODDCHERO (4) is a talented entire who tackled a tougher race at his last run on August 25 and finished tenth behind Damon's Mound over 7f at Listed level at Charles Town (Dirt). Should be poised just off the lead. Winning claims on best figures. STRAIGHT LUCK (7) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 5½f at Remington Park (Dirt) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 4.5 lengths. Taking on a better line-up this time but he deserves his chance.
