MERCURIAL LADY (8) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 6f at Moonee Valley. Has been in the money at each second up start. Tackling a more suitable race so she can bounce back. Fitter and deserves another chance. SEA POEM (7) missed the frame last time when fifth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Prior to that had won two races on end, the last of those at this circuit. Meets easier opposition this time. Sure to be thereabouts.
