SCARY (14) finished half a length away in second last time out at Geelong. On a 10-day back-up. Good effort last start and is worth following up. POWERFUL TORQUE (6) was ridden quietly then made some inroads and finished 0.9 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7½f at Sandown-Lakeside three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will find this easier than last start. Should measure up. ECLIPSION (1) is ticking along okay with two runs this time in. Improved last time out when fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, at Kembla Grange over 1m. Should camp just off the leaders. Solid claims on best form.
