PRAY DAY (4) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Seymour. Open to improvement and looks a serious contender. ADJANNI (8) is back after a break of four months. At the last run before the layoff she finished ninth over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside. Has ability and is a solid chance. AMERICAN WOLF (12) was safely held on debut last start, finishing 7 lengths behind the winner in eighth over 7f at Flemington. Open to plenty of improvement. Top-three chance. RENOVATION SHOW (6) held on well to finish second when when resuming from a break last time out over 6f122yards at Geelong after leading for much of the way. Should backers a sight again.
