SNICK (9) finished third, beaten 2.5 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Pakenham after she was in the firing line on the turn. This is an easier race so she is a major player. CATTRALL (10) has not appeared since she finished tenth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside on September 13. Nicely placed and expected to go well. SON OF ZORRO (3) worked home well to grab third at big odds at his latest appearance at Moonee Valley over 5f. Won't find this assignment as tough. Capable of testing this field. VILLA ROYALE (13) resumed last start over 5f122yards at Benalla and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 2 lengths. One of the main contenders.
