ADONIS KICK (1) ran well despite being friendless in betting last time over 1m2 1/2f at Sandown-Lakeside, finishing third and beaten a long neck at 40/1. Settles back early but winds up late. Best form puts him right in this. CHOQUANT (3) started at 3/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 12 lengths at Pakenham over 1m2f after being in contention on the corner. Finds a nice race and can make amends. LONFIRE (4) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in third over 1m2 1/2f at Stony Creek. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. SCHWEINSTEIGER (2) showed good early speed over 1m2 1/2f at Stony Creek last time and went on to salute by a head. Tackling tougher opposition but can figure in the finish.
