OUR ANCHORAGE (11) was an impressive winner last time over 1m2f at this track, stalking the pace before lengthening nicely to score by 3 lengths. Stiffer assignment here but a bold showing is expected. ASTERIX (3) finished 4 lengths away in seventh last time out over 1m at Randwick when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will drift back but wind up late. Leading contender. HOPEFUL (12) lines up on the back of a 8 length sixth over 1m2f at this track. Hard to knock. DON DIEGO DE VEGA (13) started favourite last time over 1m at Randwick but could manage only seventh. Starts. With a better weight. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Not to be discounted.
